When my kids were young, I used to read them books that we can play along with. Times are different now with the new technologies. It takes kids away from regular exercise and socializing. With this book, I definitely think children would love to move and play, and parents would especially love to do so with them.

Wow!!! I love it so much! Such a beautiful gift to children and parents. The book is so simple yet informative and fun, even a child at heart will truly enjoy. All bookshelves in every school, from pre-school to the university, should have this.

The story of Tala’s adventure is a great reminder of the value of active play, movement and imagination in a child’s life. It provides a fun exploration of what the body can do for children and the young-at-heart as well! Not only does Tala’s story take readers into the physical practice of yoga for children, it also is a great exercise of imagination, emotional awareness, and appreciation of one’s self-worth. Indeed, even for the young, this book shows us how yoga can be lived both on and off the mat.

This interactive book is teaming with possibilities for creative engagement with our 7-year-old daughter Carmen. I love how through this book, we can share our love for yoga through play, grow our imagination through sharing stories, and bond as a family while getting fit mind, body, and soul. And thank you for the Filipino translation, too.

This book is beautifully crafted and appealing to kids and mothers as well. By reading this book, a child will grow up learning the basics of yoga and its benefits for his or her growth and development. I’m so proud that one of my former pediatric residents turned out to be a
successful pediatrician and yoga instructor.

I love the way movement is incorporated in the story through the different yoga poses shown in each page. It is one creative way to encourage children to express themselves as they explore their environment and the world around them.
